Grab a sexy cocktail at Cantina & Pisco Bar, or head into Bar Chrystie a new elegant and intimate bar celebrating New York City’s cocktail culture. No room service is available, but after the last two years, we much appreciated the forced recognition that this room is meant to meditate and relax, while the spoils are right out your hotel room door. If you’re a tech fan, then you will be pleased with controlled adjustments and room tweaks right at your fingertips. The rooms are minimalist with refined sophistication, with provocative style down to every detail. It’s like an assistant approach to hotel hospitality-something new and nice.Ī first-time stay will reveal that this hotel offers a fine-tuned excess at an affordable price. Upon entering, you’ll be surprised to find there isn’t a front desk but instead a group of advisors that will greet you and assist in any check-in or requests. Once you’ve finished up, stop into CatBird with your bestie and get “ zapped.Boutique is the name of the game when it comes to Ian Schrager’s Public Hotel, an exclusive experience of luxury and design offered to all modern explorers looking for a classy dwelling when gallivanting around the Lower East Side. It doesn’t serve the best Italian food in the city, but the coffee is good and the 80s-inspired decor has us drooling. It’s a great little burger/salad place with a cool interior vibe… the restaurant is in an old diner car. This Italian café-cum-bar-cum-restaurant is the stuff of Insta-fantasies think pink, and then add a splash more pink. As you make your way walking through the neighborhood, we’d recommend stopping into Diner (open Friday-Sunday for lunch) along the way for a bite. With the water nearby, there are great look-outs and walking trails that give you a lovely view of the city. I also like Happy Bones in SoHo and The Elk in West Village. Okay the best one ever is Urban Backyard in NoLita. 230 Fifth is a nice fam-friendly place for happy hour, or cozy up in the robes and igloos during winter epic view of Empire State. Or, stop into Happy Bones… a cute little coffee stop. Shop around Nolita + SoHo / There are some great little stops here-We like Sezane, Glossier, Everlane, AmourVert, Clare V., Credo, Detox Market.
